Turkish Draughts/Checkers
16 pieces are used instead of the usual 12. They are arranged so:

Players: Two.
Pieces: 16 for each side.
Aim: To capture or immobilise all the opponent's pieces, or to reduce them to a single piece against a piece elevated to king.
Origin: Turkey.

Rules:
1. Pieces move one square forwards or sideways, but not diagonally or backwards.
2. Pieces capture by a short leap forwards or sideways.
