Eagle Wing
Thirteen Down, Wings
For 1 Player - Level: Difficult
Layout: Deal 13 cards, and place them face down in a pile in the middle of the table. This pile is known as the trunk. Then lay out four cards, face up, on one side of the pile, and four cards face up on the other. These are the wings of the eagle.
Deal out one more card, and place it directly above the pile, so that your layout looks like this:

That last card is a foundation pile. As other 8s appear, they go up in a row alongside it, and you build on them as well.
To win the game: Build the foundations up to full 13-card suits.
Play: Go through the cards, one by one. If you cannot play a card onto one of the foundation piles, put it in a waste pile. The top of the waste pile is always available for play. You can also build with the cards in the wings. When a space opens up in the wings, fill it right away with a card from the trunk. The bottom card in the trunk - if you get that far - may be played directly to the foundation without waiting for a place in the wings.
In the building, Aces follow Kings.
Redeal: You are allowed two (three times through the cards).
