Double or Quits
For 1 Player - Level: Easy
Tricky building - and on only one foundation!
Layout: Deal seven cards in a sort of frame shape, as shown below. Then place a card inside the frame. That card is the foundation, and you can build on it from the frame or from the stockpile. If any of the cards in the layout turn out to be Kings, put them on the bottom of the pack, and replace them with other cards.
To win the game: Build all the cards onto the foundation - except for Kings - doubling the value of the card that has just been placed.
Play: For example, let's say that the layout looks like this:

The card you must build on is a deuce; so, you deal out the cards, one by one, until you come to a 4 of any suit - and place that on the deuce. The cards that you go through before you come to the 4 go on the wastepile.
The next card you need to find is double 4 - i.e., an 8. There is one in the frame, so you can use that right away. Spaces in the frame are filled with the top card of the wastepile, or, if there is no wastepile, from your hand.
Double 8 is 16. So, deduct 13 (the number of cards in a suit), and you get 3. This is the card you need to find next.
So - a sequence goes like this:
2 4 8 3 6 Queen (12) Jack (l1) 9 5 T 7 A 2
and the sequence repeats.
Redeals: Two.
