Baker's Dozen

For 1 PlayerLevel: Easy

Layout: Deal 13 columns of four overlapping cards. Aces will go into a foundation row above the layout.

After you lay out the cards, check on the Kings. If a King is in an exposed position, move it underneath the other cards in the column. If a King is lying on another card of the same suit, place it underneath that card.

To win the game: Release Aces, and build them up to Kings in suit.

Play: Build downwards on the cards in the layout, one card at a time, regardless of colour or suit. Do not fill any spaces.

Good Measure

Play exactly the same way as Baker’s Dozen, except:
1. Deal ten columns of five overlapping cards.
2. Start with two Aces in the foundation row.

Perseverance

Level: Moderate

Play exactly the same way as Baker’s Dozen, except:
1. Set Aces in foundation piles from the start.

2. Lay out twelve columns of four overlapping cards each.
3. If a group of cards is in suit and in sequence, starting at the top, you can move the entire sequence as a unit.
4. On the layout, build down in suit only.
5. You have two redeals. Gather up the piles in the reverse order of the way you put them down, and then deal them back into twelve columns, as far as they go.
